To find us by road leave the M6 at Junct 36 & follow the signs for Barrow & the A590.
This will take you through Newby Bridge,past the main road to Windermere.
Continue left on A590 until Greenodd.
Here you will see the head of Morecambe Bay Estuary to your left as you join the dual carriage-way.
Turn RIGHT here following signs for the A 5092 to Millom,Whitehaven,Workington & Coniston.
After about 6 miles on this typical winding,lakeland road you begin a steep decent & will see the Village name-sign for Grizebeck on the left verge.
Take a moment to enjoy the distant view across the Duddon Estuary.
At the bottom of this very steep hill is a slip-road & left turn sign-posted to Barrow via the A595. with a Texaco garage(which is also the local post-office)on the far corner.
Turn left here & The Greyhound will be right in front of you.
Feel free to park outside to unload your luggage & then make use of our spacious off-road car-park opposite.
